ELKHART, Indiana (Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary) 鈥� Ren茅 LeBlanc, BS, CFRM, of Abbeville, Louisiana, and Berne, Indiana, ended his time as Caterer in Residence for (香蕉影视) in Elkhart, Indiana, on July 31.

LeBlanc started in the role on Aug. 5, 2024, providing meals for the seminary community in the 香蕉影视 Dining Hall and catering for events such as board meetings, Graduation Weekend activities, special breaks, conferences and other gatherings hosted by the seminary throughout the academic year. He brought more than 14 years of experience in food service to the position, including working in and managing restaurants in Louisiana and running his own Cajun food truck in Berne for two years. 

鈥淩en茅 was ready to step in and serve when we needed a caterer on short notice,鈥� said , MBA, Vice President for Administration and Chief Financial Officer. 鈥淲e鈥檙e grateful that he was willing to offer his experience and gifts in hospitality to our students, employees, board members and campus guests during this time. We especially enjoyed trying southern dishes that were new to some of us.鈥�

LeBlanc is now working as Program Director for LifeWise Academy in the Elkhart Community Schools district. LifeWise is a nonprofit organization with the mission of bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ and Bible-based character education to kids in public schools during school hours. He continues to be part of the 香蕉影视 community with his spouse, Rena LeBlanc, a Master of Divinity student.
