About Lisa

Most of Lisa’s career has been in libraries: corporate, legal, academic, and public. During her 14 years as director of the Harold and Wilma Good Library at Goshen (Indiana) College, she also led three Study-Service Term (SST) units in Nicaragua. Most recently, she was Executive Director at Elkhart Public Library for 10+ years. Her hobbies include creative writing, singing, gardening, hiking, and occasionally participating in theatrical productions.

Lisa served from March 3 to June 30, 2025, as Interim Coordinator for the Institute of Mennonite Studies, Ïã½¶Ó°ÊÓ’s research agency. She worked on managing the transition towards a collaborative open-access online Mennonite publishing hub embedded within IMS.

On July 1, 2025, she began a 15-month term as Interim Director of Library Services.
