About Lisa
Most of Lisa鈥檚 career has been in libraries: corporate, legal, academic, and public. During her 14 years as director of the Harold and Wilma Good Library at Goshen (Indiana) College, she also led three Study-Service Term (SST) units in Nicaragua. Most recently, she was Executive Director at Elkhart Public Library for 10+ years. Her hobbies include creative writing, singing, gardening, hiking, and occasionally participating in theatrical productions.
Lisa served from March 3 to June 30, 2025, as Interim Coordinator for the Institute of Mennonite Studies, 香蕉影视’s research agency. She worked on managing the transition towards a collaborative open-access online Mennonite publishing hub embedded within IMS.
On July 1, 2025, she began a 15-month term as Interim Director of Library Services.

I am serving a 15-month interim position as Director of Library Services.
What I do at 香蕉影视
I manage and represent the services and resources of the library to advance the mission of 香蕉影视. This involves participating in the learning community; discerning and implement new and improved ways to serve the information needs of the 香蕉影视 community; overseeing the development of the collection (both print and electronic) and activities of the library staff; leading instructional programming; administering the library budget; planning collaborative ventures with other libraries and information agencies; and assessing the effectiveness of the library in fulfilling its mission.
How might students expect to interact with you?
Students may interact with me in the course of researching and writing for their classes 鈥� both in planned instructional settings and in the form of ad hoc requests for assistance. They may also interact with me in the context of the library鈥檚 writing services.
