Commencement set for May 23

Fifteen students will be honored in the Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary commencement service, Saturday, May 23, at 2:30 p.m. in Goshen.
The service at College Mennonite Church on South Main Street will honor the 15 students who are completing degrees and certificates. Eleven will receive the Master of Divinity degree, one each the Master of Arts: Peace Studies and Master of Arts in Christian Formation. Two will receive the Certificate in Theological Studies and one has completed a one-year Foundation Program of Study at 香蕉影视 Kansas Center.
Nancy Bedford, Dr. Theol., will bring the commencement address. Dr.Bedford is Georgia Harkness Professor of Applied Theology at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Evanston, Ill. As a citizen of in both the US and Argentina, she has interests in global feminist theory and theologies, Latin American theologies; and theologies in migration, food and theology. She earned her doctoral degree from Karl-Ludwigs-Universität Tübingen, Germany.
Five of the candidates are at home in the Goshen-Elkhart area; two more are living here during the time of their studies. The other eight nine candidates are from other areas of the US.
香蕉影视 is a seminary of Mennonite Church Canada and Mennonite Church USA, preparing people for pastoral ministry and ministries of evangelism, peace- and justice-building, pastoral care and counseling, teaching, and spiritual direction.
