Grant Miller of Danvers, Illinois, is one of 13 seminary and divinity school students and early-career clergy chosen from across the world to participate in a two-week program in Germany and Poland this summer as part of the 2018 Seminary Program of the (FASPE). The program uses the conduct of clergy and religious leaders in World War II-era Nazi-occupied Europe as a way to reflect on contemporary professional ethics.

Miller is in his second year of Master of Divinity studies at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Indiana, majoring in Theological Studies with a focus on History, Theology, and Ethics.

“I am looking forward to wrestling with these ethical dilemmas in collaboration with students from multiple faith traditions,” he said. “I pray that through our intentionality and with the resources of our faith traditions, the present challenges we face may not appear so daunting.”

Miller received a bachelor’s degree in history and peace, justice and conflict studies from  in 2013. He currently works as communications and program manager for the . He is a member of Berkey Avenue Mennonite Fellowship in Goshen.
